Thunderstorms pour heavy rain

LET ME TURN. ALL RIGHT, FOLKS WANT TO GIVE EVERYBODY ANOTHER UPDATE HERE ON THE WEATHER SITUATION. WE’VE GOT STILL SEOM VERY HEAVY RAIN PUSHING THROUGH WASHINGTON COUNTY. WE’V’ GOTTEN REPORTS OF THE ROAD BEING WASHED OUT HIGHWAY 217 NINE A TNDHE MOUNT ALL OF CEBA, WHERE WHERE IT BECOMES MOUNT ALL OF AS YOU GO WEST BECOME CEIVE AS YOU GO EAST THERE AT TWO SEVENTY TO SEVENTY NINE, THAT’S IN CENTER TIN. THAT’S WHERE WE’VE GOTN TEQUITE A BIT OF RAIN. IN FACT, WE TAKE A LOOK HERE AT THAMOUE NT OF RAIN. LET’S GO OVER HERE TO TAKE A LOOK AT 12 OUR RAINFALL TOTALS HERE AND EXTREMELY HIGH. OBVIOUSLY, I’LL GO AHEAD AND START THE MAP RIGHT HERE AND WE’RE STARTING TO GET SOME REALLY HIGH TOTALS HERINE SOUTHERN MADISON COUNTY TO PARTS OF WASHINGTON. BUT THIS IS WHERE WE’VE SEEN SOME OF THE HIGHEST TOTALS. IN FACT, QUERY SOME OF THIS DATA RIGHT HERE, AND WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO NOTICE IS RIGHT THERE, RIGHT? ABOUT FOUR INCHES OF RAIN BETWEEN SILOAM SPRINGS AND IXNAY ON IN THE CENTER IN BENTONVILLE, SO IT’S NOT A SURPRISE THAT WE’VE GOTTEN A WASHED OUT ROAD REPORT, NOT CONFIRMED YET. MIND YOU, TNO CONFIRMED WE’RE HEADING IN THAT DIRECTION, BUT AT LEAST WE’VE GOTTEN THAT REPORT AND USUALLY THOSE TEND TO ACTUALLY END UP BEING ACCURATE REPORTS. SO SOME THAT WE’RE WATCHING FOR HERE, BUT WE’VE GOTTEN A LOT OF RAIN. BEN KAGOY OD NEWS IS IN BENTON COUNTY, WE’RE STARTING TO SEE THAT RAIN LIGHTEN UP QUITE A BIT. YOU CAN SEE THIS LIGHT RAIN FALLING SO THE FLOODED ROADS THAT WE HAVE RIGHT NOW AND BENTON COUNTY GOING TO START TO KIND OF RECEDE AS WE GO THROUGHOUT TIME, WHICH IS GOING TO BE NICE. BUT THERE ARE FLOODED ROADS HAVE TO AVOID THEM IN BENTON COUNTY. THERE’S PROBABLY GOING TO BE A FEW IN WASHINGTON COUNTY AS WELL AS TS HIVERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUES TO PUSH ITS WAY OVER. STILL, VERY MU ACH CONCERN. AREAS AROUND FAYETTEVILLE ABOUT TO GET SOME MORE RAIN COMING IN RIGHT HERE. SO IT’S GOING TO BE COMING BACK DOWN PRETTY HEAVY OVER THE NEXT 30 MINUTES. OR SO BEFORE THAT THREAT CONTINUES TO PUSH OFF TO THE EAST. OUR VERESE THREAT IS OVER IN BENTON COUNTY, AND IT’S STARTING TO COME TO ADAIR AND CARROLL COUNTY, THOUGH NOT TOTALLY OVER JUST YET. MADISON COUNTY TOTALLY DIFFERENT STORY. AND WE’VE GOT THIS CELL RIGHT HERE THAT STARTETOD ACTUALLY ROTATE. BOTH OF THESE CELLS HAVE STARTED TO ROTATE A LITTLE BIT. THIS ONE NEAR WINSLOW. IN FACT, WE’VE GOT A CAMERA JUST A LITTLE BIT EAST OF WINSLOW. LET’S GO AHEAD AND GO AND MAKE THAT SKYBUS THREE, IF UYO COULD. IT’S PROBABLY THE YEAH, PART OF KEVIN THE CAMERA. SO WE’RE WATCHING THIS ONE RIGHT HERE, BUT WE’RE ALSO WATCHING THIS ONE RIGHT HERE IN SOUTHERN MADISON COUNTY. BOTH ARE SHOWING SIGNS OF A LITTLE BIT OF ROTATION, THOUGH NOT REALLY ENOUGH JUST YET. TO ISSUE THE TORDONA WARNING. YOU GOT THAT SPIN UP A LITTLE BIT RIGHT HERE IN SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON COUNTY. WE DEFINITELY HAVE SOME SPIN UP GOING ON HERE IN SOUTHERN MADISON COUN,TY NOT NECESSARILY AGAIN. AFTER THE POINT RIGHT NOW WHERE WE EXPECT A TORNADO WARNING TO COME OUT IMMEDIATELY. BUT IT COULD COME HERE PRETTY SOON. I MEAN, ISTH STORM IS SPINNING WHAT YOU’RE GOING TO GO NOW, ROBERT. OK, SO LET’GOS AHEAD AND PULL UP OUR CAMERA WITH THE STORM HERE. A LITTLE BIT EAST OF WINSLOW, AND IT CAN’T SEE MUCH RIGHT HERE. AND YOU KNOW, WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS AND GO AHEAD AND TAKE THIS STUFF, OFF RIGHT HERE, WHEN YOU LOOK AT THIS CAMERA, IT LOOKS LIKE, OH, WHAT’S THAT? WHAT’S THAT? IT’S ALL SCUD. THERE’S NO ROTATION, RIGHT? THERE IS NO TORNADO ON THE GROUND, SO WE’RE NOT SEEING ANYTHING. MAYBE IT WAS. WE PAN THE CAMERA TO THE RIGHT. LET’S PAN THE CAMERA TO THE RIGHT. AND AS WE DO THAT, WE’RE GOING TOE B BASICALLY PANNING TOWARD THE NORTH A LITTLE BIT. ALL RIGHT. LET’S GO BACK TO THE LEFT, AND THAT’S REALLY LEFT IS PROBABLY. AND AGAIN, WHAT WE’RE SEEING STOP RIGHT THERE OR SEEING IS JUST SCUD COMING OFF THE MOUNTAINS. IT’S THIS MOISTURE COMING OFF THE MOUNTAINS. WE DON’T HAVE ANY FUNNEL ANYTHING RIGHT HERE. LET’S KEEP GOING TO THE LEFT SO WE CANOO LK MORE TO THE SOUTH AS WE AS WE TILT PAN THE CAMERA TO THE LEFT. THIS IS LOOKING MORE TO THE SOUTH. AND I WANT TO LOOK TO THE EAST TO KEEP GOI, NGKEEP GOING. LEFT. AND THIS WILL KIND OF GIVE US MORE OF AN EASTERLY PERSPECTIVE AND AND SO IF THERISE ANYTHING CONCERNING WITH THIS STORM, IT MIGHT SEE IT NOW NOT SEEING A THING RIGHT HERE GO A LITTLE BIT FAR TO THE LEFT. ALL RIGHT. STOP RIGHT THERE. SO NOT SAYING ANYTHING WITH WITH THIS AREA. THAT’S GOOD. GOOD. GOOD TO KNOW. BUT DEFINITELY A STORM WE’RE WATCHING AND THIS ONE RIGHT HERE IN SOUTHERN MADISON COUNTY, A LITTLE BIT OF A CONCERN FOR US, SO WE’LL KEEP AN EYE ON THAT AS IT APPROACHES ETH MARBLE AREA. THE KINGSTON AREA. BUT BUT AGAIN, NO WARNING AT THE MOMENT. WATCHING SOME STORMS THERE IN LOGAN COUNTY AS WELL, WE GOT ANASTY GROUPING OF CELLS HERE IN POLK COUNTY LIGHTNING REALLY GETTING PICKED UP, PICKING UP RIGHT HERE, INDICATING THAT THE STORMS PROBABLY INTENSIFY AND THIS COULD BECOME A BIG CONCERN AS IT CONTINUES TO PUSH OFF TO THE NORTH AND EAST. BUT RIGHT NOW, THAT STORM ALSO NOT WARNED. WE’RE WATCHING THE STORMS COMING INTO THE RIVER VALLEY RIGHT HERE. NO WARNING ON OF THESE STORMS. A LOT OF A LOT OF THIS ACTIVITY IS JUST REALLY DISORGANIZED. SO THAT’S A GOOD THING. WE WANT TO KEEP THEM THAT WAY. JUST RAGGEDY THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN CERTAINLY A PROBLEM FOR ANYONE DRIVING DOWN THE INTERSTATE. AS WE’VE SEEN IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS, WE SEE ALMOST EVERY TIME WE GET REALLY HEAVY RAIN. YOU KNOW, YOU COME UP ON THAT HEAVY RAIN REAYLL QUICKLY AND SUDDENLY IT JUST DOWNPOURS THIS MONSOON OUT OF NOWHERE FEELS LIKE AND THEN YOU GET TRAVEL PROBLEMS, YOU GET FOLKS GETTING IN AN ACCIDENT. SO WE’VE SEEN THAT A GOOD BIT OF THAT THROUGHOUT THE DAY. WE’VE ACTUALLY GOT WE HAD AN ACCIDENT. LET’S TAKE A LOOK AT THIS IS IN BENTON COUNTY HERE. EARLIER AND THERE WAS ACTUALLY DEBRIS ON THE ROAD AND SO THIS RIGHT HE, REWHERE WAS THIS AT? EXACTLY? ROBERT? SEVENTY THREE. SO X X SEVTYEN THREE SOUTHBOUND NEAR EXIT SEVENTY THREE SOUTHBOUND AND YOU CAN SEE THEY’RE KIND OF DIVERTING TRAFFIC OFF TO THE RIGHT RIGHT REHE. AS THEY TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THIS. BUWET HAD A LITTLE BIT. YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE BIT RIGHT THERE. THAT’S PROBABLY NOT FROM THIS ACCIDENT, BUT YOU SEE A LITTLE BIT OF RIGHT THERE. SO HOPEFULLY EVERYONE’S OK AND THIS THIS ACCIDENT, WE DON’T KNOW OF ANY INJURIES. IF YOU’RE TRYING TO GO SOUTHBOUND NEAR EXIT SEVENTY THREE THERE IN SPRINGDALE, YOU’RE GOING TO RUN INTO THAT AND YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE QUITE THE SLOW DOWN. SO AGAIN, THE AREA THAT WE’RE JUST LOOKING AT, WE CAN SEE IT ONHE T RADAR RIGHT HERE. EXIT SEVENTY THREE IS JUST, I BELIEVE THAT’S THE MEL SPRINGS EXIT, BUT BECAUSE IT’S SEVENTY TWO, I’M PRETTY SURE IS SUNSET. BUT THAT’S RIGHT, IN THROUGH HERE. SO GNGOI SOUTH FROM LOW, GOING SOUTH FROM KAY SPRINGS, ROGERS BENTONVILLE AREA, TRY TO GET IN THE SPRINGDALE, TRYING TO GET TO JOHNSTON OR FAYETTEVILLE IF WE’RE GOING SOUTH FROM ROGERS OR LOW. THESE AREAS IN THE SPRINGDALE, YOU’RE GOING RUN INTO THAT AND YOU MIGHT WANT TO FIND A DIFFERENT ROUTE FOR THE MOMENT. BUT AGAIN, IN THE MEANTIME, THE WHAT WE’RE MOST CONCERNED ABOUT, WE STILL HAVE HIGH WATER IN PARTS OF BENTON COUNTY COULD HAVE SOME HIGH WATER IN PARTS OF WASHINGTON COUNTY AND MADISON COUNTY. WE’RE WATCHING A COUPLE NASTIER STORMS HERE IN FAR EASTERN WASHINGTON AND IN SOUTH CENTRAL MADISON COUNTY APPROACHING THE KINGSTON AREA. THE WARNING ON ANY OF THAT RIGHT NOW, NO WARNING ON ANY OF THESE OTHER CELLS, BUT AS TIME GOES ON, WE’LL HAVE TO KEEP WATCHING FOR THAT BECAUSEE W COULD GET SOME NEW WARNINGS ISSUED. THIS WILL ALL BE TO THE EAST OF US BY ABOUT 2:00 OR 3:00 IN THE AFTERNOON. IN THE MEANTIME, STAY SAFE OUT
