Fayetteville businesses prepare for busy Super Bowl weekend



Super Bowl 56 is just days away and Fayetteville businesses are preparing for the game and a rush of customers.”It is always a good weekend. Always a good weekend,” said Richard McGinnis, owner of Richard’s Country Meat Market in Fayetteville.For folks who like to prepare the food themselves, Richard’s has plenty of options.”It is all the good easy things to fix for meals, wings of course are great, we sell a lot of our homemade sausages, gourmet burgers,” said McGinnis.For those that would rather carry out some food and stay out of the kitchen, Lucky Luke’s will be open from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday for bulk orders and pick up.”This year we are opening up just for the Super Bowl. We are going to do just a big bulk menu and we will sell a lot of wings,” said owner Brian Smith.However, both businesses have faced some supply chain issues.”So far we have been pretty lucky, we have been able to stay in stock but you just have to work at it a little bit harder,” McGinnis told 40/29 News.”It is kind of an adventure these days, what is going to be available this week? What is going to be easy and readily available to get and what is going to be hard to find?” Smith said.Despite the challenge, Richard’s and Lucky Luke’s will both be stocked up and ready for customers this weekend.
